SQL Server version support

Performance Store supports all SQL Server versions from 2008 to 2025 on Windows and Linux, as well as Azure SQL Managed Instance.

All SQL Server editions are supported. This includes Express Editions as well as legacy SQL Server editions like Data Center Editions, Workgroup Editions, Parallel Computing Editions and Business Intelligence Editions.

Although all versions are supported, not all features are available on all versions. If a feature is available depends on if the feature is natively supported by the SQL Server version, e.g. information about Always On Availability Groups are not available for SQL Server 2008 and 2008R2 since these versions do not support Always On Availability Groups.
